CC BUTTERSCOTCH        1999  SORRELL MARE 

 **  CC is an easy going mare that I've used for riding lessons and overall ranch work. I've used her to pen cattle and some roping.
She loves people and loves to take life slow. CC would be a nice horse for a beginner, a real confidence booster. She stands about 15hh.
CC has a real strong hip and high wither, she can carry a rider all day. This mare sells open but is sound to ride or breed. Also, this mare foaled the colt listed below named "Cowboy."

SEEMS IMA SPANKY        2004  APHA PALOMINO GELDING   

     **  Spanky is a well build, easy going gelding. He shows alot of promise and would make an excellent reined cow horse with further training.
UPDATE... Spanky now has some road miles. I hauled him to Abilene for a reined-cowhorse event and he hauled and stalled like a pro. No pawing or cribbing, no bad habits at all. Rode all over the complex like he was at home. I've started him on cattle in the arena as of March. Pictures below still show his lighter winter coat, he'll get darker as he continues to shed.

PEPPER        1995  GREY MARE   

**  What can I say, everyone loves a grey mare. I get alot of compliments on this mare. She's the real deal when it comes to ranch horses. There's NOTHING this mare can't do. But what the hell, she deserves a list of accomplishments...
    For starters, this mare has roped more colts in the pasture than I can begin to even count. (that's right, not all colts are fed Winnies cookies and have their own stall so on occasion I have to go out and rope one and put it in a trailer and this is the mare that I call upon).
She ponies colts all day, has incredible stamina, smoothest gate opener on the planet, can cut a cow, rope a cow, head or heal and sometimes both if I have two ropes on my saddle, she'll spin a hole in the ground, stop hard barefooted, lope circles smaller than anyone would ever want to, puts up with my crap, gives lessons to kids, allows my kids to crawl all over her and when their finished she likes to hang around for a carrot. Ive entered her in countless team pennings and sortings. Ive used her for hundreds of horsemanship demonstrations. You can ride this mare ANYWHERE, ANYTIME. Bareback and for me bridleless. She runs the herd around here, BOSS, I believe is what they call her. In short I think Pepper is one of the best horses I'll ever own. She's gentle enough for kids but I think an experienced rider would appreciate her abilities. This mare is in the bridle and was developed from the hackamore, the two-rein and then into the bridle. Ive got 100's of pics of this mare but Im only gonna load a few for time sake. Come and ride her. Im gonna be really careful about who I sale this mare to, I hope you understand. Pictures below show Pepper @ 12yo in the bridle and my son @7yo, remounting after losing his lid.

     ** Baby is a solid bay, no white, QH Mare by Champion WP Sire, ADDICTING
 and out of a Zippo Pine Bar/ Hotrodders Jet Set mare. This WP bred mare has incredible suspension
 and is used for all sorts of ranch work as well as riding lessons for beginner riders.
 Baby is currently being ridden by my wife and kids, she is very gentle and reliable.
 I've used her for gathering and doctoring cattle, team penning, riding lessons and just plain trail riding.
 In the vaquero tradition, she is being ridden in the hackamore and is ready to move into the two-rein. Very loving and people oriented mare.

     **  Rowdy is an awesome little horse. Real easy going and would make a heck of a roping prospect.
 Stout, gotta see him to appreciate his conformation and disposition. 

 

COWBOY      2005   TOBIANO GELDING     SOLD        

     **  Cowboy is flashy bay with 4 white stockings and a skunk tail. Very quite and easy going with a friendly disposition. Cowboy was started under saddle this spring and is doing well in his training.
This colt could be used for any discipline but with his leggy frame I see him in the arena running barrels
or in the grand entry looking good. In a couple years, this will be a horse for the grandkids.
Cowboy should finish out around 15.2 - 1100 lbs.
