Wetfork Ranch is located 8 miles south of Canton TX, 60 miles east of Dallas. The ranch's northern border is the wet fork of Lacey Creek. It's home to John Crow, his wife and family. It's here that John and his family manage a small cattle operation and it's where John raises and trains horses to become well rounded, dependable partners. With patience, experience, understanding and respect, John starts hundreds of colts every year. As well as raising and training his own horses, John trains horses for the public and conducts horsemanship clinics throughout the year. Education is a key part to John's training program. Training the owner is just as important as training the horse, that way both the horse and rider can understand what the other is thinking. Together they can work on communication, eventually reaching an understanding that they can both live with.
